STEM Research (Day 5-6)
Hello Knights!
So far you have researched the water source of our community (Lake Tahoe-Truckee River), you have studied how water gets from the source to our homes, and you have charted the cost of water as well.
Today you will be looking into how water is filtered in order for it to be consumable by humans. With the knowledge from this research and from your field trips to various places around the community you should be able to develop quality conclusions about water filtration.

Recommendation – home filters. Are they necessary? What types are available? What percentage of the population uses them?
